Prague
Prague was seriously beautiful. It has everything from quirky colourful buildings to slippery cobblestone streets. I loved walking around the town rather than catching the tram as you got to admire and take in the atmosphere and no matter where you went you were bound to find something interesting. I was constantly staring at the rooftops as so many of them had beautifully detailed statues.
We walked from our Airbnb to the Prague castle and it was amazing to see the new town transform into the old town. I loved the terracotta rooftops and the windy cobblestone roads that were only big enough to fit one small car through. Now when I say that these roads were slippery, my gosh it's like walking on ice sometimes.
At the top of the stairs to the Prague Castle we found some beautiful little Christmas markets. We bought a sweet pastry called, Trdelnรญk, it looked like a hollow cylinder donut. It was delicious!! It was honestly a spectacular view from the top of those stairs, being able to look over Prague made you feel like you were on top of the world.
We ventured out one night to Prague's famous pub crawl, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone that is going to Prague. It was a lot of fun and the Czech locals sure know how to drink! It was a great night and we meet a lot of people from all over the world.
Next stop, multicultural central! Keep your eye out for my next post featuring the historic Berlin!
