The end of 2018 for me was amazing. I was back at home on the Gold Coast spending time in the sunshine, by the ocean and with my closest friends and family. While I was there I got to photograph two very special people in my life, Britt and Ben. They are two of the most beautiful people you will ever meet and I love them to pieces.

They’re high school sweethearts who started dating in 2010. In 2017 Ben organised the engagement with Britt’s boss and she was none the wiser as she was used to occasionally going out to lunch with her boss and this day Ben just so happened to be joining them…so she thought. He had flowers in hand as it was their 7 year anniversary and then he dropped the knee and asked the girl of his dreams to spend the rest of her life with him! It was absolutely magic and I couldn’t be happier for them.

Britt and I have been planning her engagement photos for a while…and yes it took just over a year to take them (thanks Ben for finally agreeing to do them hahaha just kidding). Since I moved to Melbourne last year, we just needed to organise the time to do them. So when I was coming home for Christmas/New Year it was the perfect time to do it and what a beautiful day it was. On December 31st we ventured down to Coolangatta Beach early in the morning (sorry guys, I know you love a sleep in) to beat the crowds on this stunning last day of 2018. The weather was on our side, it was a beautiful mostly blue morning with a slight sea breeze.
